Ezra Yego is a development and technology leader with extensive experience driving innovation at the intersection of the private sector and technology for development. He is the Co-Founder & CEO of BQI Technologies, a software development and professional services firm that partners with governments and development agencies to deliver digital transformation solutions across North America, Africa and beyond.

Prior to founding, BQI Tech, Ezra was Innovation Fund Manager at the GSMA, where he oversaw the GSMA Innovation Fund portfolio supporting digital solutions that strengthen resilience and inclusion in vulnerable communities. His work focused on advancing mobile-enabled technologies in areas such as early warning systems, financial inclusion, and humanitarian connectivity.

Previously, he worked with the UN SDSN, UNCEF, UN Joint SDG Fund and the Strathmore Centre for Sustainability Leadership.

Ezra is a graduate of Strathmore University holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is currently pursuing an Msc. in Innovation, Leadership and Management at the University of York.
