Raised in a community where girls’ education wasn’t a priority, our founder struggled to stay in school. It took the kindness of neighbors, the belief of a teacher, and her own unwavering determination to break through. That journey became the seed for Chalan Foundation.

Today, that same fire fuels our mission to ensure no child is left behind. We champion vulnerable learners, children with disabilities, and young girls at risk of early marriage — because we’ve been there, and we believe they too can rise.
